Is it possible? Yes.
Is it easy? No
Is it likely? Also no.
Sorry to burst your business-bubble, but reaching 10,000 GENUINE (also known as organic/ not paid for) followers in 30 days (or even 60 for that matter is NOT common. And it DEF ain’t easy. There are a number of things that you can do to organically grow your following including:
/ Relevant hashtags: spend some time researching the best hashtags for YOUR BUSINESS. What are your competitors using. Which hashtags are already working for you are which aren’t (check engagement vs. hashtags)? What are the brands that inspire you doing? And finally, trial and error your hashtag sets.
(TIP: interact with hashtags. Go through each hashtag that you use on your post. Like and comment 5-10 in the ‘top’ section and 5-10 in the ‘recent’ section.)
/ Engagement: it’s time consuming, it's tedious, it’s something we all put off, but it’s IMPORTANT. Spend 10 minutes at the end of each day (perhaps during your morning coffee, instead of your personal feed scroll) engaging with your target audience - i.e. those that are tagging in your area, those that are using similar hashtags, those that engage with your competitors and those that regularly engage with your brand!
/ Post 3-5 times per week: Spread your content out a little, you don’t need to be posting every single day, let alone more than once. A post typically has a lifespan of 48 hours so posting too often is just a waste of good content!
/ Use ALL of IG’s features: try your hand at reels, upload any video content you are getting to IGTV (use a simple video editor like iMovie), use the explore function for engagement (as above) and post, post, post!
Good luck out there - and don't forget, if you're struggling, you can always contact us!
